Maternal Health

Pregnancy-related complications are a major cause of maternal deaths. All women need access to antenatal care in pregnancy, skilled care during childbirth, and care and support in the weeks after childbirth.

Newborn Health

Newborns in India are at risk of preterm birth, neonatal infections, intrapartum related complications/ birth asphyxia and congenital malformations. Eighty percent of these deaths are preventable by providing access to specialised facility-based care, antibiotics for bacterial infections and screening for birth defects and developmental delays.

World Preeclampsia Day Awareness talk

On the occasion of World Preeclampsia Day, 22nd May, Intignus Biotech Pvt. Ltd. was invited by INHS Asvini, Mumbai to speak about Preeclampsia and it’s global impact. The current methods of screening and diagnosis were discussed with emphasis on the need for early detection of Preeclampsia. Intignus also presented their research on a Point of care test kit for screening of Preeclampsia. The interactive talk was well received by the medical fraternity.
